Posted by bidorbuy Admin, Last modified by bidorbuy Marketing on 14 February 2022 10:37 AM

There are a number of ways to find products on bidorbuy: by searching, filtering, sorting or browsing through the various categories.

1. Searching

For quick search, type your keyword in the search box at the top of the page. For additional options, click on the arrow next to the box to perform an advanced search. You may also use the Search within results box at the top left of all category page listings.

2. Browsing

Use the All Categories drop-down menu in the top bar to access all bidorbuy categories and select the one that interests you. Within a category, you can access sub-categories from the left hand navigation menu.

3. Filtering

Use filters to further narrow the results:

  • Price
  • Condition (new or secondhand)
  • Payment method
  • Location
  • Type of sale
  • Warranty and guarantee

To reset, clear all filters or a specific filter.

4. Filtering by auction, buy now or classified

All category and search results pages allow you to filter the items by the type of sale (auction, buy now or classified). The default setting shows all items.

5. Filtering by South Africa and international item location

Item location specifies whether items are held in South Africa or internationally. The default setting for search results pages is South Africa. The default setting for category pages is all items.

6. Sorting

You can order results by using the sort drop-down at the top right of the search results page and category page listings.

Sort by:

  • Lower Price
  • Higher Price
  • Ending Soon
  • What's New
  • Hot Selling Items

7. Watchlist

If you like an item, you can save it to your watchlist by clicking the watchlist button. To use this feature, you need to be logged in.

Step 1: Finding items >> Step 2: Bidding and buying >> Step 3: Completing the purchase >> Step 4: Rating the seller
