Buyer Has Not Made Payment or Is Not Contactable, What Do I Do?

We generally recommend 7 days for a transaction to be completed, if however after multiple attempts you have not been able to contact the buyer and the buyer continues to avoid any contact with you after the 7 day period or has not made payment for the item, we suggest that you file a SNC (Sale Not Complete). A SNC can only be filed after 7 days from the closure of the listing.

Once this process follows its course and the Buyer does not respond or still fails to complete the transaction, you will be credited your success fees back and will have the opportunity to rate the Buyer negatively for non payment (dependant on the outcome of the SNC). Please attempt to make contact with the Buyer first, either via telephone or email, before filing the SNC. Non paying Buyers can also be reported to bidorbuy for further investigation or action against them, simply email us at hello@bidorbuy.co.za.
