Buyer Protection Programme - Making a Claim

The detailed steps of how and in which situations to file a claim are listed in the Buyer Protection Programme Terms and Conditions. Here is a short overview:

  • Item not received? Check the listing to make sure that you've allowed enough time for your auction or buy now item to arrive.
  • Item different than advertised? Check the listing to make sure that the item is indeed materially different.
  • Contact the seller.
  • If you do not receive a response within three days, file a claim online.
  • The complaint must be filed no later than 30 days after the payment was made.
  • Remember to include all documentation.

Before submitting a claim, please review the conditions of the bidorbuy Buyer Protection Programme Terms and Conditions. Please note: claims may take 30 days or longer to be processed, investigated and finalised.
