Benefits

Tracked shipping

Automatic customer updates

Pre-negotiated, competitive shipping rates

How to ship using uAfrica

Step 1

Go to My bidorbuy > Selling > Shipping charges and click on Sign up with bidorbuy shipping

Step 2

Confirm your shipping details by completing the sign-up form:

Step 3

Authorise uAfrica to access your information:

You’ll be redirected to uAfrica to set your password.

That’s it - your uAfrica integration is done!

What happens next?

Once the integration is complete, you’ll see the Ship with uAfrica button next to each completed order.

By clicking Ship with uAfrica, the order is automatically imported into uAfrica and you’ll receive quotes from 3 different couriers (The Courier Guy, Courier IT, Dawn Wing)

All bookings for shipments happen on the uAfrica platform, but tracking information is automatically sent to bidorbuy. To use bidorbuy shipping to book a courier, you need to have enough money in your bidorbuy account to cover the shipping estimate.

You will  still need to set up your shipping cost per product as usual (e.g. Courier (Main centers) - R80, Courier (Outlying Areas) - R100)

uAfrica Shipping Billing Detail

The billing for uAfrica shipping happens directly on bidorbuy.

You will see 3 transactions for every shipment:

  1. Shipping Estimate - this is the courier’s quote based on the supplied dimensions and destination.
  2. Estimate Reversal - this will always happen once the final charge comes in
  3. Shipping Charge - this is the final amount that the courier has charged (it should be in line with the estimate assuming there have been no major changes to the dimensions or destination that the estimate was based on.
