How to Whitelist bidorbuy Emails
Posted by , Last modified by on 07 November 2016 09:36 AM
Transactional emails sent by bidorbuy are crucial for the functioning of the bidorbuy trading platform. They call on users to take an action: place a higher bid, conclude a purchase, answer a question, finalise a sale, and so on.
To ensure that these emails reach your inbox, you may need to whitelist them. This is a quick, once-off task. All you need to do is add the sender to your email client’s “Address book” or “Safe senders list”. For transactional emails, the sender is email@example.com; for customer support, firstname.lastname@example.org; for newsletters, email@example.com; and so on. If your email client gives you the choice, select the sender’s domain, @bidorbuy.co.za, to the safe list.
This will ensure that our messages are more likely to reach your inbox.
The specific whitelisting steps vary from email client to email client. Here is how to whitelist emails sent from bidorbuy in some of the most frequently used email clients:
In the default email client, touch the image / icon of the sender and tap OK to add to contacts.
Apple iPhone / iPad
Tap the sender's name in the From line. On the next screen, tap Create New Contact. Tap Done.
Right-click on the sender's email address and select Add to Contacts or Add to VIPs.
Hover over the sender's name. A window will pop up. (Click More if given the option.) Select Add to Contacts to save the sender to your contacts list.
Right-click the email. Select Add Sender to Contacts. Click Save.
Outlook.com (formerly Hotmail)
Open the email. Click the Add to Contacts link.
Right-click on the message in your inbox. Hover over Junk E-mail and click Never Block Sender.
Add the sender to your Address Book, making sure that Personal Address Book is highlighted.
Please also remember that emails are not infallible. You should log into your bidorbuy account regularly to review your activity on the site. To monitor any help tickets you may have submitted, log into the bidorbuy Help Desk.
