Due to a harddrive failure on our primary database we will switch tonight at midnight from our primary DB to our standby DB. This will then allow us to replace the faulty hard-drive on the primary server.
 
The bidorbuy website will not be accessible for approximately 30 minutes from midnight.
 
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Delay with Capitec Payments

It has come to our attention that Capitec has not processed payments since Thursday last week. We believe they have been contacting their clients in this regard. This means payments may be delayed or not matched as yet. If you are a Capitec client, please check with Capitec if they will be processing the payment again.

Beware - CAR SCAMS on Gumtree/OLX/Junkmail etc.

Please be advised - there are numerous car scams on other websites, where sellers are impersonating bidorbuy and sending fake bidorbuy invoices for vehicles that do not exist. Please note, we do not send invoices for cars, we do not store cars, we do not provide insurance or hold money in trust, we do not deliver vehicles either.

If the price is too good to be true, it probably is a scam!
